Supporting Small Business
Those who know me, know I am always finding new products to try, especially when I can support small/ local businesses. Over the years I have found so many amazing products that I continue to use. I will be featuring them here in the Products I Like! section of my site. Be sure to check in regularly to see what I have found lately.

THE SWEET LIFE KETTLE CORN COMPANY
Have I got a sweet treat recommendation for you! Do you like popcorn? Do you like a little sweet, but then a little salty? I just recently discovered this amazing kettle corn at a craft show. I was undecided. It smelled amazing. You know that wonderful aroma of fresh popcorn? But I had been so disappointed in the past with kettle corn. It's either way over the top sweet, too salty or not enough of one or the other.
I tell you folks, this is it, perfection, the perfect balance of both, AND the kernels are so big, puffy and tender AND its gluten free! You know how sometimes you get a bag of mealy, broken, hard to chew kernels? Yuck. This popcorn comes in clear bags so you can see its gourmet quality. I have to be careful now not to eat the whole bag!
I have to give a shout out to the owner Jody who is a bundle of enthusiasm and joy. She takes the time to engage with customers and share about upcoming events. Hurry up and get yours for the holidays. Nothing more enticing than a big bowl of kettle corn on the table for everyone to grab. Who doesn't like that? Let's support this small business as they are making the effort to expand so we can find it at a shop near us.

Happy Munching!

I am so excited to have found another (woman owned) small business in
GROUNDED CONFECTIONS
as I was strolling along at a local small business market. The Owner, Jessica, was like a bright light amongst the bustle of the arena. She was so engaging and passionate about her product as she offered samples of her creations. The added bonus is that her chocolate is plant-based AND gluten free! Believe me, you do not need to have food sensitivities to enjoy these treats, but how nice it is to be able to gift those you know with them! I mean who doesn't like chocolate?
The bars themselves are beautifully wrapped squares, making the shape as interesting as the flavor choices. I am especially happy to have found, and to support another heart conscious company that uses sustainable practices with a focus on low impact on our precious Mother Earth. Hurry if you want to grab some for the holidays, for the person in your life with food sensitivities and don't forget one for yourself! Gift cards are available as well. You must try:
JAQUELINE'S TEAS
I had the opportunity to try these amazing, delicious teas when I visited Jacqueline's Tea Room in Freeport ME years ago, where I was handed a scroll with a long list of over 80 varieties of teas to choose from. My personal favorite is white tea, organic if I can get it, and Jacqueline's teas are the very best I have ever had! If you have not tried brewing fresh tea, you really must. It is so easy and there is no comparison to grocery store tea bags. The tea is so clean and silky on the palate and smooth going down. Unfortunately for us the teahouse is no longer there, but lucky for us, we can now buy these teas online at
https://www.jacquelinesteas.com
They will arrive beautifully packaged with care and brewing time.

"HUMAN NATURE"
Natural Bath and Body Care for the Human Race
I have been using their all-natural soaps for years now and they deserve a shout-out. I order them on-line but have seen them in health food stores here and there. They have an extensive variety of natural scents and the lather is luxurious with a velvety feel on the skin.
You know when you buy natural soaps and then you get them home and try them only to find there is little or no lather or scent? Showering with Human Nature soap is uplifting to the spirit as the essential oils are released into the steam creating an invigorating aroma. Aaaahhhh, the scent of "Maine Woods" or "Citrus Scrub" to name a few.
I know that if you try their soaps you will love them as much as I do and you can feel good about supporting a small business. Their prices are so reasonable and the packaging is low impact on our beautiful Mother Earth.
